Imperial is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our growing marketing team. In this role,
you’ll be responsible for sourcing, coordinating, creating and publishing strategic, on-brand
content across social marketing channels to ensure that we are delivering relevant, engaging
messages to our target audiences and monitoring results to improve performance of future
campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize brand awareness campaigns across all social channels, with a focus on video content
  • Strategize how to develop or grow our following on new, emerging social channels
  • Community management for all Imperial accounts to grow reach, followers, engagement, and revenue for the platform
  • Drive video views and clicks
  • Collaborate with marketing manager to schedule and maximize campaigns
  • Write copy and video titles/descriptions
  • Generate original content ideas
  • Campaign performance reporting

Experience & Requirements:

  • 3+ years of similar work experience in a professional production environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of the golf and apparel industries
  • Avid follower of professional golf, golf events, and cultural commentary across all media platforms
  • Familiar with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and AfterEffects
  • Familiar with Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Working knowledge of video and sound editing
  • Familiar with of all aspects of post-production for social media videos
  • Strong instinct for social media video performance
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • 1+ years of experience managing direct reports

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the Imperial brand and current collection of products
  • Flexible schedule and ability to travel when needed, but at least 10% of the year
  • Manage and maintain travel budget

Who will you work with and report to?
The Social Media Specialist will report to the Marketing Manager and the SVP of
Marketing. Someone in this role will also need to collaborate with internal teams to
maximize brand success (Sales, E-commerce, Paid Media, and approved independent
content creators).

Where will you be needed?
This position is open to a hybrid schedule. Relocation to the greater St. Louis are (as needed).

What kind of salary will you earn?
The base salary for this role is $44K and is not inclusive of other forms of compensation or
benefits that may be available. Our philosophy on compensation is driven by the goal of
attracting, developing, and retaining the best people to further our mission, vision, and
business goals. Compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including and not limited
to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The actual annualized salary amount
offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer
letter.
